The MPS Pool is closed for the season.  Join us again next year when we will open about Memorial Day and run through Labor Day 2112.  Thanks for your help in making this season a great one.

Your quarterly MPS newsletter is available simply by clicking the NEWSLETTER menu tab.  There you will find an archive of old newsletters as well as the most current.  They are in PDF format so you can just click and save or print it out to view in “hard copy” format if you choose.  Spread the word around the neighborhood about our new website because many residents are unaware of it.

We have ordered new chairs and chase lounges for the pool.  They should be arriving in the next couple of weeks.

Last Thursday night, the MPS Board met with Randy Trusedale and two of his associates from the City Parks and Recreation Department about the improvements to our Bill Miller Park.  The company that installed our playground equipment has now donated swing sets that will be placed just east of the existing playground.  They are also resurfacing the current playground.  All these procedures are now underway. 

A new picnic pavilion is also in the works just southeast of the existing playground near Memphis Drive.  The city plans to lay a sidewalk to connect the street to the playground and swing area.  We appreciate Randy and staff for keeping us apprised of what is going on in our park.
